Dispersion testing enables high speed network owner\/operators and dark fibres providers to identify any potential issues with fibres and take corrective measures promptly. Ensuring optimal network performance from day 1 while reducing downtime to prevent revenue loss due to network disruptions. Furthermore, dispersion testing can help network owners comply with industry standards and regulations, ensuring that their networks are secure and reliable. The OBS-500\/550 combines three applications in one rugged and splash-proofed field solution. Its high output power and wide wavelength range enable the characterisation of any fibre network configuration. In combination with the VIAVI ODM module, it allows high performance CD, PMD and AP measurements to be performed.<br \/>Our kit is delivered with an <strong>ONA-800A v2<\/strong> mainframe with built in power meter and VFL, and enabled SAA, BT and Wifi options.
