Fiber optic cleaning tool which cleans the male or female side of a connector, for +600 cleanings. It removes contaminants by an easy push operation without damaging the delicate optical fiber cores. The cleaner uses the mechanical push action to advance an optical grade dry cleaning tape while the cleaning tip is rotated to ensure the fiber end-faces are effectively, but gently cleaned. It has an automatic advance feature which ensures each clean is performed with fresh cleaning tape.
Suitable to clean the ferrule inside an MPO and MTP adapter/port (female/receptacle). Secondly it can also be used for cleaning the ferrule end faces of a fiber optic patch cablewith MPO or MTP connectors (male). Includes an instruction manual.
