FSM-90R / CT50 Mass V-Groove Ribbon Splicer Kit
The Fujikura FSM-90R12 ribbon / mass fusion splicer has a wide heating area for up to 12 fibres, upgradeable to 16. The wide electrode gap melts the fibres uniformly and has real-time discharge power control by analysing the fibre’s brightness intensity. The 90R12 does not have active core alignment mechanisms, however, during the discharge, fibre surface tension effects minimize preexisting offsets. The final stage of the splice process benefits from a wide heating area, which gives you quick and easy heating for high fibre count splices. The fast, automated heater works in partnership with the automated wind protector to deliver a reduction in overall working time.
