The MXO 4 series is the first of a new generation of oscilloscopes that excels in both performance and value. The instruments deliver a once-in-a-decade engineering breakthrough for accelerated insight. They have the world’s fastest real-time update rate of 4.5 million waveforms/s, meaning engineers can see more infrequent events than with any other instrument. The 12-bit ADC in the MXO 4 series has 16 times the resolution of traditional 8-bit oscilloscopes at all sample rates for more precise measurements without any compromises. A standard 400 Mpoint acquisition memory on all four channels and an optional 800 Mpoint interleaved memory provide the instrument with up to 100 times the standard memory of comparable instruments.

A complete portfolio of high-quality passive and active probes covers all measurement tasks. With an input impedance of 1 MO, the active probes only put a minimum load on the signal source operating point. The active single-ended probes offer a very wide dynamic range, e.g. 60 V (Vpp) at 1 GHz, even at high frequencies, preventing signal distortion.
