We’re excited to share a recap of our very first Fibre Days event in the UK, which took place on January 14th and 15th in Basingstoke. It was a great experience for everyone involved, and we’re glad we had the chance to connect with people from the UK fibre optic community.
Day 1: Blowing machines and hands-on learning
The first day was all about blowing machines, with Jetting and Blow & Go leading some fantastic demonstrations. Participants got a closer look at how these machines work and had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and see the equipment in action. To make it extra special, everyone who joined received a blowing certificate and a ‘relaxing’ goodie box to take home.
Day 2: EXFO open house and networking
On day two, EXFO took the spotlight with their open house session. It was a relaxed, open environment where attendees could ask any questions they had about EXFO’s (or other) products. The event also gave everyone the chance to enjoy a tasty lunch while networking and chatting with others in the industry.
Looking forward to more
This was our first event in the UK, and while we didn’t have as many attendees as hoped, we’re still really pleased with how it all came together. We’re excited to keep growing and improving, and we’re already brainstorming ideas for our next seminar.
