FTTx is a broad term used for any type of fibre installation. Sometimes they replace an existing copper/coax network, this can be carried out entirely or partially.
- FTTN stands for “Fibre to the Node/Neighbourhood”.
- FTTC for “to the Curb”.
- FTTB for “to the building”.
- Finally, FTTH for “to the Home” and FTTA for “to the antenna”.
