Who is responsible for insurance during the rental period?
The renter is responsible for insuring the equipment against damage, loss, and theft during the rental period. We recommend adding the rented equipment to your existing company insurance policy. If you need guidance on coverage requirements or documentation for your insurer, our team can provide the necessary details including equipment value and specifications.
What happens in case of damage, loss, or equipment failure during a rental?
If equipment is damaged or lost during the rental period, the renter is liable for the repair or replacement cost. In the event of an equipment failure that is not caused by misuse, RentalTec will provide a replacement device, typically within 24 to 48 hours, at no additional cost. We always recommend contacting us immediately so we can assess the situation and get you back up and running as quickly as possible.
Does RentalTec provide technical support during the rental?
Yes. Our team provides technical support throughout the rental period. If you need help with equipment setup, configuration, or troubleshooting, you can reach your local RentalTec office directly. For critical situations where the issue cannot be resolved remotely, we commit to dispatching a replacement device within 24 to 48 hours.
What happens if the equipment I need is not currently in stock?
With over 9,950 products in our fleet, most requests can be fulfilled immediately. If a specific model or configuration is temporarily unavailable, we will let you know upfront and offer a suitable alternative from our inventory. In many cases, we can also source equipment through our manufacturer partnerships to meet your timeline.
Who handles shipping and return logistics?
RentalTec arranges delivery directly to your site or preferred address, typically within 24 to 48 hours across Europe. At the end of the rental period, we coordinate the return pickup as well. All logistics are handled through your local RentalTec office, so you have a single point of contact for the entire process.
What are the payment terms for equipment rental?
We offer flexible payment terms including weekly and monthly invoicing, depending on the rental duration and agreement. For longer-term rentals or volume agreements, we can discuss customised payment schedules.
