In May 2025, our Belgian headquarters moved from Mechelen to Duffel. A few months in, the new space already feels like home. Today, we’re giving you a look behind the scenes.
Why the move?
After eight years in Mechelen, it was clear we’d outgrown the building. The team kept expanding, the amount of equipment increased, and making things fit had become more about improvisation than efficiency.
In Duffel, we found a space that genuinely supports our ambitions: easy to reach, a significantly larger calibration lab, a warehouse where equipment doesn’t need constant reshuffling, and dedicated office areas for each department.
In short, a setup that finally fits how we work.
A lab and warehouse built for efficiency
The biggest upgrade is undoubtedly the lab and warehouse. Both are now several times larger than before, with clearly defined zones for calibration, maintenance, and stock management.
That structure makes day-to-day work clearer for our team. It also helps ensure equipment is prepared and shipped to customers faster and more reliably.
A workspace that’s simply nicer to be in
Anyone who’s moved offices knows the chaos: endless boxes, things disappearing for weeks, and then reappearing in the most unexpected places.
Once the dust settled, we focused on making the space feel right. New furniture, artwork on the walls, and enough room for everyone to work comfortably. We even opted for soundproof glass=because some colleagues are… enthusiastic on the phone 😉
Lunch together, unwind together
One thing we really missed in Mechelen was having space to sit together at lunchtime. Now we do.
We’ve got a shared lunch area, a dartboard, a ping-pong table for quick breaks, and every now and then we organise a team lunch. If you had to choose…….sandwiches, Mexican, Italian, or a food truck with proper fries?
Ready for what’s next
This move isn’t just about more space. it’s about setting the foundation for what comes next. More equipment, more people, and better ways of working together.
And honestly, it’s also just nicer to welcome partners and clients into a space that’s designed for collaboration; without having to improvise with spare tables and chairs 😊
