CT-50 optical fibre cleaver with automatic blade rotation
Thanks to enhanced drop and impact resistance compared to existing cleavers, the CT50 is as robust as it is functionally exceptional. It delivers speed, precision, and ease of use for customers like never before thanks to its clever design, which allows users to replace the cleaver blade, resulting in a reduction in handling time and maintenance costs.
The CT50 can cleave single fibres and ribbons of up to 16 fibres and because it is Bluetooth enabled, can easily be integrated into existing splicing process for customers looking to invest in a future-proof cleaving solution. Thanks to the CT50s ability to wirelessly connect to Fujikura fusion splicers, the CT50 is able to change the position of the cleaving blade automatically and in response to the cleave quality of the optical fibres as seen and communicated by the fusion splicer. The fusion splicer will then rotate the blade once it deems the quality is poor. In addition, the CT50 completes cleaving of the fibre and scrap collection in the same step.
