Calibrators

A calibrator is an instrument used as a reference, also called standard, whose measurements are compared with the measurements of another instrument of lesser accuracy, the device under test (DUT). Goal is to test and compare the accuracy of the DUT against its specifications given by the manufacturer.

There are many different types of calibrators such as those specifically designed for temperature, pressure, amongst others. You also have electrical or RF calibrators, which mostly combine measurements and generation of AC/DC voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, time, frequency, and much more. Available on the market there are calibrators for a specific instrument, such as an oscilloscope calibrator. You also have multifunction or multi-product calibrators, for example the well-known 5500A and 5700A Fluke models. Contact our sales team for more info.
