SM OTDR Test Adapter (Add-On) for TestPro CV100

AEM’s Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) hot swappable multimode and singlemode OTDR test adapters, providing users with enhanced troubleshooting functionality and helping technicians in the field to quickly locate broken fibers or identify loss events that lead to optical loss test failures.. The OTDR gives technicians in the field the ability to easily pinpoint the location of broken fiber or other loss events causing an optical loss test to fail. The AD-OTDR-MM and AD-OTDRSM test adapters are compatible with TestPro and Network Service Assistant (NSA) test platforms. When an OTDR trace is combined with TestPro’s Multimode and/or Singlemode Tier-1 Optical Loss Certification, Tier-2 Certification can be achieved. 

Wavelength Range: 1310 +/- 25 nm and 1550 +/- 30 nm
Event Dead Zone: 0,6m typical for 1310nm and 0,6m typical for 1550nm
Attenuation Dead Zone: 3,6m typical for 1310nm and 3,7m typical for 1550nm
Dynamic Range: 29dB for 1310nm and 27dB for 1550nm
Distance Measurement Range: 80km for 1310nm and 130km for 1550nm
